Akialoa is a custom designed and built 55-foot catamaran sail boat fitted out in the finest traditions of a first-class sailing yacht. She can reach speeds of 20 knots and is US Coast Guard certified for cruises up to 20 miles offshore. Her maiden voyage of 12,000 miles from her birthplace in the US Virgin Islands to her home in Hawaii proved her seaworthiness.
Below decks she is outfitted for long-distance cruising and will provide all the comfort you want for a day on the water. She is outfitted with a full galley from which are prepared the catered meals for her dinner cruises and two full heads with fresh water showers for getting rid of the salt after a day of snorkeling strolling on the beach or sunbathing.
